I did something a little crazy, gals. I signed up for the May Layout a Day. I'll be honest, I'm a bit scared. :) I'm also super excited at the possibility of completing 31 layouts by the end of the month. I don't think I've scrapped that many pages in the past year!
Anyhow, here's my page for today:
I used the kits that I talked about in my last post, and some pictures from my honeymoon (almost 14 years ago!).
If you've never heard of Layout a Day (LOAD), each day you're given a prompt as a starting point for your layout. The goal is to then scrapbook a layout based around that prompt (they're pretty easy-going, though, so you're not completely bound by the prompt) and upload it by midnight that night. I got day one finished before 10 am...I may have cheered a bit in my scrapbook room. :)
Here's a couple close-up shots:
My goal this month is to work through some of the mountain of supplies sitting in my craft room. I'll be sure to keep you updated as the month progresses.
Have you ever participated in one of the LOAD challenges? I'd love to get some tips and tricks to keep up my momentum!
